Unverferth House

Unverferth House serves as a temporary residence for The Ohio State University Medical Center patients and families who live outside Franklin County. It consists of nine fully-furnished apartments with one serving as a shared office/community room.

            


Volunteer Opportunities through The Unverferth House:

Guest Dinner - Individual or group can prepare enough for 15-20 people. Can do cooking in own home or at the House.
Housekeeping - Assist with general house cleaning tasks in individual apartments.

Landscaping - Help with lawn needs such as raking leaves, plant flowers, mow or trim.

Maintenance - Assist with general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, etc.

Special Events - Help with fund raising events for the House, or come up with your own fund raiser for the house-- book sale, yard sale, Luncheon or dinner parties!

Baking - Bring in occasional baked goods for the house guests to share.
